Brief

Design a marketing tool to promote Fedrigoni’s latest range of uncoated black papers and boards: Sirio Ultra Black.
Our solution for this creative challenge was to design and make a calendar that would both promote the new Sirio Ultra Black paper and appeal to designers and illustrators alike. 

This calendar would serve its original purpose but also be something to cherish and keep. Because the paper is the darkest Fedrigoni has ever produced, we decided to exaggerate what that might mean visually. 

Our idea focuses around the proposition that the paper could be 20% darker than words or items often associated with the word ‘black’. Because our promotional item was a calendar, we’ve fine picked twelve commonly associated words. So, we think the new Sirio Ultra Black paper is blacker than a...
